Atsushi Mitani is a Senior Associate at ARCHIMED.

Atsushi started his career at Mizuho Financial Group in Japan, where he was involved in a wide range of financing transactions across both debt and equity in commercial and investment banking. He gained extensive exposure to leveraged finance and capital markets transactions with global private equity firms.

Atsushi subsequently relocated to Singapore, where he worked for a global logistics company, driving M&A and business development initiatives across Southeast Asia and Oceania, including projects related to pharmaceutical logistics. He was also directly involved in country-level corporate strategy development and the establishment of a corporate venture capital platform.

After earning an MBA from HEC Paris, Atsushi joined ARCHIMED in 2023 as a Senior Analyst and has been closely involved in a variety of investments, such as the take-private of Instem in the UK, among others. He was also closely involved in the establishment of ARCHIMED’s Japan office. Since relocating to Japan in 2024, he has led the investment in Agatha and played a key role in building a long-term relationship with Nihon Kohden, contributing to the formation of a joint venture with Ad-Tech.
