Shugo is a Strategic Partner at ARCHIMED.

He has over 40 years of global business experience in the fine chemicals and healthcare sectors, including 20 years in France and Germany. Over the past 12 years, he served as General Manager of Bioprocess and then CEO of Asahi Kasei Medical (now Life Science), where he managed the blood purification and bioprocess businesses globally. During this time, he also made significant contributions to the Japanese medical devices industry, serving as Chairman of MT Japan and Vice-Chairman of The Japan Federation of Medical Devices Associations.

He currently holds two advisory roles and two board directorships in the Japanese healthcare industry.
