NORTH ASIA MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD NEWS:
With a mission to create positive impact for patients globally, ARCHIMED continues to expand its group of clinical and scientific experts who bring practical insight from the front line of clinical practice.
Following the successful launch of the North Asia Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) in April, ARCHIMED has now inaugurated the North Asia Medical Advisory Board (MAB). While the SAB brings a research perspective, the MAB is built around physicians actively practicing in the field, the people best placed to see how a device or treatment actually performs once it reaches patients. That perspective directly informs how ARCHIMED evaluates healthcare investments and how they translate into patient outcomes.
The MAB held its first meeting on June 29 in Tokyo. Seven clinical and scientific advisors and ARCHIMED’s investment and operational team convened for the first time in an active exchange. Each MAB member shared insight from their own field, and ARCHIMED offered exposure to its European medical advisory network.
Going forward, ARCHIMED and the MAB will continue their regular dialogue as new opportunities emerge, to create real impact for patients at a global level.
About the North Asia Medical Advisory Board
The board is made up of physicians and researchers drawn from ARCHIMED’s connections in Japan. Sharing a passion for medical innovation and what it means for patients, they bring expertise on clinical relevance, on how a product fits into practice, and on where the real unmet needs sit, and help shape the clinical value that ARCHIMED pursues. The board gives innovative insight into the medical and clinical space, reviews technologies and products that ARCHIMED is considering, and introduces ARCHIMED to domestic and international companies, key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic societies, and research institutions, helping ARCHIMED and its companies to contribute to global medical needs.
