NORTH ASIA SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD NEWS

ARCHIMED is pleased to announce the launch of its North Asia Scientific Advisory Board, bringing together leading scientists to support its investment activities in Japan.

On April 13, the inaugural meeting of ARCHIMED’s North Asia Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) took place in Tokyo, marking an important milestone in ARCHIMED’s development in Japan. The event brought together four scientific advisors and seven ARCHIMED members, including senior investment and operational professionals, for the first time, discussing medical innovation and the future of healthcare technologies.

The SAB’s mission is to gather independent scientific expertise to help ARCHIMED assess the value of technologies and innovations in the context of its investment activities, ensuring that projects under review are both scientifically relevant and impactful. Each member is closely associated with the ARCHIMED team, united by a shared passion for medical innovation and its real-world impact on patients, healthcare practitioners, and society.

With expertise anchored in pharma and extending across ARCHIMED’s focused sectors, they bring insight in cutting-edge topics spanning systems biology and AI-driven drug discovery, genomic medicine and rare disease genetics, single-cell genomics and microfluidics, pharmaceutical R&D strategy and operations, and beyond.

Looking ahead, ARCHIMED will collaborate with the SAB through regular dialogue on innovation, portfolio developments, and emerging opportunities for impactful investment.
